“I was referred to Cindy by a friend and I am so happy I was! When I brought Sara(Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier) to her for some trouble she was having, Cindy was able to get us in quickly. What impressed me most was how connected Cindy was with her patients. She is very compassionate and cared for Sara like she was her own special pet. I also felt very comfortable in the office, it is set up just right with an inviting waiting area and great treatment rooms for our pets. The treatment beds even go up and down for safety. The staff is great and Cindy’s husband helps too and is cool. Over all I loved the experience and have found my Vet for life.”

“I have two geriatric kitties with ongoing health issues. Andrew is 16 and Daisy is 14. They both are very reluctant to visit the vet even though during their lives that have each been to the vet many times. I started going to Dr. Stroup at the Animal Hospital of West Bay in Largo, Florida, after seeing an article about her in the St. Petersburg Times. I was impressed by the fact that she had opened her own business after working at others in the area for many years. I made the appointment and have been taking my kitties there ever since. “We just moved to Belleair Beach a few weeks ago and when our 3.4 lb Chihuahua broke her foot we needed to find a vet. We looked online and found the Animal Hospital of West Bay. They got us in right away and took did x-rays and splinted her leg. Dr. Stroup gave her great care and her and her husband were very personable. The fees were very reasonably priced too!”

“Excellent Veterinarian Dr. Stroup helped me with two of my animals. The first service she performed for my family was helping us euthanize our 17-year-old lab mix, Buddy, who had liver cancer. She and her staff were caring and extremely professional for the entire procedure. Secondly, she performed a spay on my 10-month-old Scottish terrier, Ares. She was wonderful with going over all the details and being patient with my questions. She gave me a tour of the operating room and the recovery room, both of which are excellent in terms of cleanliness. And she actually stayed three hours late herself to monitor Ares when she didn’t recover immediately from the anesthesia, making a whopping 12-hour workday for herself. If that’s not dedication, I don’t know what is. And besides that, her staff called promptly the next day to ask how Ares was doing, a service I have never seen performed by a veterinary clinic. Dr. Stroup is definitely a great option now that Dr. Paul has retired from the Largo area.”
